Is it not the worst feeling to just wake up in the morning and feel like doing nothing at all, to just curl up, switch on an online service for watching series or movies and just waste away your day. The joys of being a sloth, however, let it not be an excuse not to do anything because you just feel lazy or because you think that watching four seasons of your favorite show is being productive. Get off your lazy bum now!

We all like to be lazy once in a while, sure, but procrastinating will only make you even lazier. The only way to fight slothness is to actually get out of your house and go offline. The Internet is a double-edged sword, on one hand you have everything at your fingertip, rendering the outside useless unless you need to go work; and on the other hand, you have everything at your fingertips.

But beware, becoming a sloth does not only mean that you will be lazy and will not want to do anything at all, it means that you will slowly start to mold together with your couch and start to develop a “whatever” attitude. Soon enough you will realize that the only things on your mind will be how to breathe, eat and where to watch your next addiction-infusing episode. And once you realize what you have become, it will be too late and there will be no turning back.

Do not let your inner sloth take over, sometimes you will be more than tempted but if you resist it, in the long run you will be thankful for what you have done. Think about all the possibilities you are wasting away, all the opportunities coming and going and then later you hear people whining how they missed out on life. No good sir, you missed out because you did not seize the moment and you chose to be at home than out there.

Sloth, as one of the deadly seven sins, has a well-deserved bad reputation, it makes you cocoon yourself up in the ignorance and bliss of not doing anything and then later when you finally get your senses back, you see the err in your ways. But then, everyone and everything that mattered is gone, forever.

We could all become sloths and just lie around aimlessly trying to exist, or we could become the next greatest thing in history. The choice is there, we just have to make the right one.
